Romeo RIM, Inc. is proud to announce the company’s participation in MFG 2018 on Thursday, October 4, 2018.
Romeo RIM is hoping to inspire the next generation of our workforce to consider a field in manufacturing by providing a two hour interactive event that will focus on Product Development, Continuous Improvement, Quality Assurance as well as a tour of the manufacturing facility. Over thirty Romeo High School students will visit our facility and get a true experience of the different fields that manufacturing has to offer.
Students from Romeo High School will arrive on site in the morning to enjoy cider and donuts while learning about Romeo RIM’s manufacturing capabilities. A tour will commence where the students will get hands on experience with our machines and processes.
Local township officials as well as local media will be onsite to cover the event.
Since 2008, Southeast Michigan has seen a significant reduction in skilled laborers to support manufacturing. This is Romeo RIM’s opportunity to share who we are, what we do, what skills are required to perform our jobs, and what careers exist in manufacturing. This initiative is very important to the future of these students, Macomb County, and the long term sustainability of Romeo RIM.
Our innovative approach to solving complex engineering challenges makes us America’s first choice for Reaction Injection Molding “RIM” and Long Fiber Technology “LFI” molding solutions. In our current N.A. manufacturing facility, we are a Full-Service composite Supplier, providing design collaboration, prototyping, and long-term production manufacturing.
Romeo RIM has been a strong community supporter for over 30 years. We welcome you to visit our facility with appointment.
