Over 30 students from Romeo High School visited Romeo RIM to learn more about manufacturing and the careers manufacturing offers. They were welcomed with cider and donuts before a short speech from President & CEO, Tim Howell. Howell spoke to the students about Romeo RIM’s capabilities as well as possible career paths that manufacturing has to offer.
The students were broken up into three groups and took part in interactive activities to learn about Lean Practices and Quality Assurance. They also took a tour of Romeo RIM’s facilities which included live demonstrations of Long Fiber Injection technology and robotically controlled Water Jet cutting used to trim parts.
